Instructions For Making Easy Chicken Marsala:

    • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
    • Dredge the chicken in flour, shaking off the excess flour.
    • In a skillet, heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
    • Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
    • In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender, about 3 minutes.
    • Pour in the Marsala wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
    • Return the chicken to the skillet and let it simmer for another minute to absorb the flavors.
    • Add the remaining tablespoon of butter to the sauce for richness, and adjust seasoning if necessary.
    • Serve the Chicken Marsala on a plate, spooning the mushroom sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
